And one of the best ways to start of your journey into broader retail is to start with a few stores to begin building a track record for sales.
With this 5-minute pitch meeting, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your book(s) to Katie Weaver, former owner and current buying consultant for the Itty Bitty Book Store, a chain of 6 retail outlets in 5 states. Based on a number of factors, Katie will determine which books to include in one or more of the stores.
Strong sales would lead to orders of more books and more prominent placement - all of which can help you attract a national distributor for greater retail exposure.
