Last year, we had legendary author Carol McCloud headline our Summit, giving insight into how she created a movement with her core title Have You Filled a Bucket Today? that's still used in school's throughout the country 20 years after its debut. 


The year before, we had the incredible Adam Wallace, author of the How to Catch series - ones of the most successful children's book series in modern history, sharing his journey from a single idea to 8 million copies sold. 


Each year, we look to feature a new, powerful keynote speaker to share their inspirational and educational experiences – experiences that can help you move you publishing business forward.

Over the years, we've organized a few different formats for the main event - we've done presentations broken up with workshops; we've done multiple tracks to provide different learning opportunities to attendees depending upon their interest and needs. 


For Summit 6, we're mixing it up a bit, combining high-level presentations with innovative networking opportunities.

Each year, our Welcome Event proves to be the perfect kickoff to the weekend's festivities - as nearly all of our attending authors are on hand to drink, eat, mingle, catch up with old acquaintances and make new friends. 

 

This year, we'll be pushing the event up to 5pm to 7pm, to give everyone a chance to go out and enjoy the Nashville nightlife (don't have anyone to go out with? Don't worry about it - we'll plan something fun!)

 

We'll have our own private space for everyone to get together, including some opening words from the Summit organizers, a delicious array of lite bites and appetizers, and a cash bar so you can unwind. 

 

ATTENDED A PREVIOUS SUMMIT? If you've attended one or more of our previous Summits (NYC, Las Vegas, Nashville or Kansas City), then we are happy to invite you to this year's Welcome event for FREE! We love seeing familiar faces, so make sure you get to Nashville in time to grab a drink with us.
